Akron residents also enjoy displays at the Akron Art Museum and comedy or musical performances in the newly renovated and historic Akron Civic Theatre.

SPORTS
A number of professional sports attractions entice the Northeast Ohio sports fan. Akron is home to Canal Park's Aeros baseball team, Double A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, as well as the All American Soap Box Derby. Akron also hosts the NEC Invitational at Firestone Country Club. This Invitational brings the PGA’s finest, including three-time NEC Champion Tiger Woods. Less than an hour away, Cleveland is home to professional sports teams including the Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers. Canton, just to the south, includes the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Cleveland bustles with new attractions and world-class museums to visit, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
